1. THE PREPARATION
Cut the substructure slats to size according to the shower tray and the multiplex base plate.
2 pieces according to the length of the base plate
2 pieces shortened by twice the batten thickness
2. THE IMPLEMENTATION
The cut construction slats are then screwed together to form a substructure frame.
In the next step, the base plate is attached to the substructure frame. If necessary, struts can be attached under the base plate for more stability.
Tip: We recommend countersinking the holes after pre-drilling. This will ensure that the shower tray rests on the wooden board and not on the screws.
After the frame has been screwed to the base plate, the drainage holes are marked. Align the shower tray accordingly beforehand.
Using the hole saw, both drain holes are now drilled.
Tip: If the base plate thickness is <10 mm, we recommend choosing a larger diameter hole saw.
3.FOLLOW-UP
The Dometic drain siphons are then installed. The shower tray drains are designed so that they are flush with the shower tray.
Now apply the construction adhesive generously to the base plate.
In the last step, the shower tray is placed on the substructure and aligned. Your camper van wet room is ready.
