THE PREPARATION
Attach substructure
Before you start insulating your camper, we recommend building a substructure.
You choose these individually according to your design and furniture construction.
The substructure enables easy, quick and, above all, uncomplicated installation of sheep's wool insulation in a natural way in the camper van.
Determine material requirements
Generally, you determine your needs based on the length x width of your vehicle. Our sheep's wool has a standard size of 60 cm wide and 600 cm long. (3.6 m² per roll)
Your individual needs are determined by measuring and adding up the areas of your camper that need to be insulated. 
THE IMPLEMENTATION
Installing sheep's wool insulation mats is quick and easy with just a few simple steps. We recommend the following procedure as a suggestion.
side walls
As a first step, we recommend insulating the side walls, as the sheep's wool can be applied over a large area.
To do this, the areas of the side walls are measured. The sheep's wool is then cut to size.
In the next step, the cut pieces are simply clamped behind the substructure.
Rear doors
All cavities in the rear doors are also completely insulated with the appropriate sheep's wool cuts.
Danger: The drainage channels on the sides of the door, which run vertically downwards, must be left open, including the drainage holes. These are not filled with sheep's wool.
Ceiling
The insulation mats are installed on the ceiling using the same procedure.
For the blanket, we recommend attaching a net using natural cord and a stapler to secure it so that the sheep's wool does not sag.
Hohlme
Finally, all vehicle cavities are completely filled with loose stuffing wool.
To do this, you press the loose sheep's wool into all hard-to-reach areas in the motorhome and camper until everything is completely insulated.
Tip:
- Leftover pieces of sheep’s wool insulation are also ideal for stuffing.
- We recommend leaving vertical condensate ducts provided by the manufacturer free.
THE FOLLOW-UP
Finally, everything is checked again to ensure that the insulation is complete and seamless.
The more properly the camper insulation is installed, the better the insulation effect. This applies to any insulation material, whether sheep's wool, Armaflex, Kaifelx, etc.
If necessary, you can add additional fastenings in certain places using natural cord and a stapler. This ensures even greater dimensional stability of the sheep's wool insulation mats.
