This makes it in no way inferior to conventional insulation materials such as Armaflex or Kaiflex. It ensures a comfortable room temperature year-round. Furthermore, sheep's wool offers good sound absorption properties.

Can I completely insulate my camper with sheep's wool?

Absolutely! Thanks to our loose wool All cavities or hard-to-reach areas in the motorhome and camper can be completely insulated, which is not possible with Armaflex or Kaiflex.

Is sheep's wool protected against pest infestation?

Yes, our sheep's wool is naturally treated using a plasma treatment and can be safely installed in camper vans.

How does sheep's wool affect the indoor climate in a camper?

Sheep's wool is naturally air-purifying. Pollutants and odors are absorbed from the air, creating a pleasant and, above all, healthy indoor climate.

Is sheep's wool ecological as natural camper insulation?

Sheep's wool is a purely natural product. Our sheep's wool is made from 100% virgin wool without any synthetic additives. Wool is a renewable resource, recyclable, and compostable.

How is sheep wool installed in a camper van?

Sheep's wool is simply clamped behind a substructure or secured in a net-like manner using natural cord. During maintenance work, the insulation can be removed and reinstalled without leaving any residue.

In what thickness is the sheep wool available?

Our sheep's wool is available in a thickness of 60 mm. The width and length are 600 mm each, corresponding to a packaging unit of 3.6 m².

How does sheep's wool react to moisture in campers and motorhomes?

Sheep's wool is permeable to diffusion and naturally regulates moisture. When condensation occurs, sheep's wool absorbs moisture but automatically releases it back into the environment. Problems related to moisture, mold, and waterlogging are eliminated. Ventilation and heating are essential. Open wall cladding for air circulation is recommended.

Is sheep's wool flame retardant?

Yes, sheep's wool naturally has a high flash point of 560–600 °C. This eliminates the risk of toxic gases in the event of a fire.
